Our Current Location Used To Be A Dental Office And Its HUGE. I Feel So Blessed To Have Been Given This Opportunity To Get This Space. Its 2 Levels With Each Level Being 972 sq. ft. For A Total Of 1,944 sq. ft. The Main Floor Has A Large Entry Way With A Fully Stocked Sanitation Station, 2 Showrooms, A Public Bathroom, My Office, A Kitchenette, Large Cleaning Closet, A Swatch & Product Storage Area, And A Product Packaging Room For Our Online Sales. The Second (bottom) Level Has A Kitchen/Large Break Room, A Private Bathroom, Our Box Assembly Room, 2 Utility Rooms And 2 Storage Areas.

This Space Required Actual Demolition And Remodeling For Me To Able To Use It The Way I Wanted Too, Not Just The Cosmetic Changes The Other Locations Had. And Because The Things We Needed Done Were Far Above The Scope And Ability Of Me Or My Husband, We Had To Hire A Professional Contractor To Help Us. And Thank God We Did, Because Watching What He Did Only A Seasoned Professional Could’ve Done.

You’ll Also Notice That The Space Had Wallpaper Which I Originally Was Going To Keep, But Then Decided I Wanted To Mimic The Style And Colors Of 709 As Much As I Could. So Instead Of Taking The Wallpaper Down Trying To Save Time, We Decided To Paint It. We Used An Oil Based Primer Made Specific For Wallpaper. I Had Never Used It Before, And In My Ignorance I Started In An Enclosed Room With No Ventilation And Proceeded To Paint For About 4 hours Or So Until I Just Couldn’t Paint Anymore Because Of The Fumes. Needless To Say, I Got Very Sick And Was Out Of Commission For A While (which is why it took us so long to finish; my husband would come in after his job for a few hours a night to prime and then paint with latex).

Looking Back, It Was A Blessing In Disguise And Exactly What Needed To Happen (although if you ask my husband, he will disagree with you). I’m Thrilled With The Way It Turned Out!!
